Dance into the night

By Sarah Hugill

For a night on the town with the girlies if I want to last the night its simple flats are a must!

For all you girls who can wear sky high heels and still be on the dance floor at 4 in the morning the respect I have for you is unreal! Unfortunately at 20 I still have not gained that ability!

My high top white converse meant that I didn’t moan once about my feet killing and the others wore flats too, so we were a pretty happy bunch on our feet till the early hours!

I also wore a black and white checkered bodysuit from Miss Guided. I’m a huge fan of this design of top as although when you get changed you look like your wearing a baby-grow, you don’t have to constantly tuck in your top every 10 minutes or so as it gradually crawls out from your skirt or shorts!

I then wore a skort, the skirt and short combo is great as you don’t have to worry about your skirt rising up, revealing anything that should definitely not be on show, but you still have the girly feel of wearing what looks like a skirt from the front. This purchase was also from Miss Guided, but be warned the skort in this design comes up pretty big, luckily my Mum is great with the needle and thread so she managed to take it in for me, but if I was you i’d order a size down from what you usually wear, much less hassle!

Rain rain go away…

By Sarah Hugill

Apologies all you lovely bloggers as I seem to have fallen off the face of the earth!

What with exams and then working full time i’ve been pretty rubbish at updating our blog, so it’s about time I get cracking!

I don’t know about you guys but I couldn’t wait for bank holiday weekend! No surprises it rained cats and dogs, typical English weather, so I decided to crack out my recent New Look purchases to brighten up my mood!

I worse a kimono (which I am slightly obsessed with at the moment, so many prints and colours to choose from!) this one caught my eye with the floral and bird print in a silvery shade so that you can wear it with pretty much any colour from New Look. I then wore a white vest top with detailing along the bottom also from New Look, a mint green, cream and white clutch back… you guessed it from New Look with a pair of leggings (as they’re quick drying) incase I got caught in a down pour.

I teamed the outfit with a spot of red lippy, dressing up the outfit for the occasion of a bank holiday meal out!

Outfit of the day

By Sarah Hugill

For a smart but casual outfit for my work experience at Absolute Radio i’ve opted for what was my christmas present to myself, a maroon jumper complete with a fresh white shirt attached, from ASOS.

I then chose to wear my jeans courtesy of Topshop, an acid wash pair from the Leigh range. They provide a snug fit, despite the soft and comfortable material.

I then partnered the outfit with my new bag from River Island, you’ve gotta love an updated wardrobe after christmas! The bag is ideal, as when commuting up to London i’m not nearly knocking people out with an inconsiderate monstrosity on my back, that us short legged people hate on escalators! But this bag is spacious enough to fit in all my essentials and the contrast of black and gold makes it eye catching, adding style to any outfit.

Daring in red

To mark myself turning 20, of course, I had to do something in Bournemouth.

I borrowed this low v- neckline dress, from my fellow flatmate @rio_blake, you’ve gotta love living with other girls!

The dress is from Miss Guided.

This body-con number ensures to suck you in, in all the right places, and who doesn’t want to stand out on their birthday and with this colour you certainly don’t blend into the crowd!
