Hi Sweetie meet Grapefruit Fimo

By Sarah Redman
No literally. My Hi Sweetie Clinique ‘A Different Nail Enamel’ has merged with my new nail art fimo fruit.

I have seen lots of nail art recently focusing on the tip of the nail, especially lots of pastel tips instead of the traditional white tip to the french manicure. A lot of these have based on a darker or lighter shade of the one on the tip or are on a nude base.

However i wanted to give my nails a bit of a break so after preparing the nails I just applied Rimmel London’s Nail Rescue Save Me and Rimmel London’s Stronger Try Harder Double Duty Base Coat to my nails. (I finished this look with top coat Rimmel London Pro Super Wear Ultra Shine Topcoat – see below)

After they dried, I applied my new Clinique ‘Not Just Another Nail Enammel’ in Hi Sweetie (£12.00).

I then applied my Grapefruit nail art fimo from a set from Claires (£3.50) by painting one side of the grapefruit fimo with Topcoat and then placing on the nail.

Lastly i finished with a Topcoat to seal the Grapefruit fimo to the nail and protect the polish.
